Jammers win 11U at Del City

Great weekend guys! You played very well. Here is how the weekend broke down:

Jammers v Lynx. Kyle held the Lynx at bay and the bats started rolling late. Jammers win 8-4.

Jammers v Batmen. Blake and Kotcha get it done on the mound and J.O. hits a monsterous HR. Jammers win 9-1.

Jammers v Rebels. Jacob shuts them down and J.O. hit a ball that still may be going!! Jammers win 9-2.

Jammers v Lynx (finals). D pitched another great game. Bats were rolling. Hunter crushes his 2nd tater of the year. Jammers win 9-2.

Champions again!! Congrats.

As you know, 3 very big tourneys await in the next 3 weeks. Great competition, great teams. I know you will bring your best. Triple Crown at Del City awaits this weekend..........Ardmore next weekend.....

Update to current

Well after starting 16-0 the Jammers lost a pair. ... one in pre-season league and our 11U league opener. Here is how it went:

Jammers v Outlaws. Well, the Outlaws were no-hit and D struck out 10. When you fail to execute on the bases and the error bug bites a couple of times.......Jammers lose 4-3.

Jammers v Tri_city Cardinals. Another 10 K performance by D, but again an E cost us 3 runs. Jammers lose 3-2.

We were just a little off in these two games. It will be better on the weekend. Playing 11's so bring your A game!!

Easter Egg Hunt this weekend

It is supposed to be a little chilly, so bundle up!!

We will have a cleanup day from 10-12 on the field. Please bring wheelbarrows, shovels and rakes. Cookout begins at 12 and the Easter Egg hunt will follow!! See you then!

Another Tourney Title

Well I haven't updated for a while, so here goes.

Jammers played in "get the gear" tourney March 23. The games were:

Game 1 Jammers v ?. (Can't remember I will look in book.) Jammers win

Game 2 Jammers v Garfield CO. Rattlers. A couple of the fans are loud and ridiculously obnoxious. Wonder if they realize how absolutely foolish they look and sound?
Anyway, Kyle throws great game. Jammers win 6-1.

Game 3 Jammers v Edmond Rattlers. Rattlers played hard. Nathan with the victory as Jammers win 20-2.

Bracket play. Jammers v Tribe. Close for a while. Jammers win 16-6.

Semifinals. Jammers v Garfield. Riley completely dominates on the mound and Jacob and Hunter hit mammoth home runs as Jammers cruise 12-2.

Finals. Jammers v Elite 9U. This team added a couple of 10's that made the game very close. The pitcher from the Tigers held us at bay most of the night, But Deshawn with a monster effort on the mound shut them down. Colby came in the last inning to shut the door. Jammers win 3-1.

Tourney Champs!

Preseason league has started this week.

Game 1 Jammers v Wint Sooners. This team is really big and plays well for a younger team. Jacob and Kotcha with great performances on the mound and J.O. with his first bomb as a Jammer. Jammers win 4-0.

Game 2 Jammers v DC Orioles. J.O. with a 2 hitter and the bats were rolling. Jammers win 19-0.

Year to Date 16-0.

Play tonight against Outlaws. Be at Davis by 5:30 wearing white.

We are moving up to play 11U league, so now is the time to get going!! Great job so far.
