Jammer take Championship at BoomTown NIT

Congratulations boys!! Another title. This time the Boomtown NIT. Here is how the weekend unfolded:

Game 1: Jammers v Gators. The Wichita team was scrappy and fired up early, but Riley threw a perfect game! Jammers win 13-0

Game 2 Jammers v PCO Royals. We got ourselves in trouble with walks, but overcame a big deficit to salvage an 8-8 tie in pool play.

Game 3 Jammers v Storm. The Storm tried to throw a pitcher at us with an arc on his ball like a softball to get us to swing on our front sides. Worked for a while. Brady pitched a wonderful game and Jammers cruise 11-4.

Finals vs PCO Royals. Royals brought in a pitcher that hadn't played all weekend. (We haven't seen that one before..wink wink) Anyway, 13 runs later after inning two and the Jammers were in control. Zack throws a no-no and hits one of 4 HR's (Brady, Thomas, Deshawn) and the Jammers roll 16-1.



We split again in league Tues night losing to the Elite 9-7 (Coaching blunder. I will take that loss) and win big against the Lions 12-3.

Boomtown Tourney Game Times

We play Staurday at Boomtown at 1:45 and 3:30. Please be there at 1:00. We will wear our white A4 jerseys. It is supposed to be 95 degrees so bring water and dress in the A4.


Jammers split a pair in league Tues, losing to the Blanchard Lions 4-3 in extra innings and beating the 10U Sooners 7-3.

Jammers win Super Series qualifier 5/14/06

Congrats guys!! Another great tourney as the Jammers cruise to the winners circle on Mother's Day.

Here is how the weekend unfolded:
Pool Play. Jammers v Titans. Jammers bats were rolling. Jammers win 12-2.

Pool Play. Jammers v Amarillo Blue Jays. Hard throwing lefty for the Jays was tough at first. Way to get to him. Jammers win 22-2

Pool Play. Jammers v Reds. Got down 6-0 early, but battled back. Wayn to show heart. Jammers win 8-6.

Semifinals Jammers v Titans. With the Mom's coaching a great game, Jammers cruise 14-1.

Finals Jammers v Reds. Jammers an easy victory 15-5.

Congrats again!! We play Tues. Be there at 5:15

We are playing this weekend at Boomtown.

Tourney this weekend

We play at 11, 6 and 7:45 on Sat. Bracket play starts Sunday. We will have a cookout at my house between games for those interested. Talk to you later. Wayne

Jammers split in league 5/10

Jammers split a pair Tuesday night, losing the opener to the 10U Sooners. First game in a couple of weeks. We were definitely rusty. Lefty for the Sooners threw a good game. Jammers lose 5-3.

Way to show some heart winning with less than your best. Good comeback in last inning. Jammers beat Elite 8-7.

Games this weekend start on Saturday. We play at 11:00, 6:00 and 7:45. We will wear white Saturday and red on Sunday.

Rainouts galore!!

Well after 2 weeks of rain, maybe we can play a few. We have 2 league games on Tues May 9th. Wear white and be there at 5:15.
