Well this will be our last post of the season. We are all so very proud of the boys!! Jammers win Triple Crown World Series in Stemboat Springs!!!

We went 2-1 in pool, losing to Chino Hills. The run started the next day with 5 staright wins capped off by a wonderful no-hitter in the finals and a 16-0 championship win!!

Jammers go 7-1 in the tourney.........then it was off to..........

Orlando Fl and the Elite 24. Jammers played very well and justified our berth by finishing in 9th place. Beat the Houston Banditos along the way and the New Orleans Monarchs. Lost 2 games by 1 run each and the winners bracket final game 3-0. Jammers finish 2-3 in the Elite 24.

Congrats to each and every player. It was and is an honor to be one of your coaches.

A special thanks to each of our Jammers (in the pic from bottom left to right): Kyle, Aaron, Max, Riley, Hunter and Blake. Back row: Deshawn, Jakob, Justin, Zack, Colby, and Kotcha. Prepping for Triple Crown Worlds

Jammers will be playing tomorrow, Monday July 9 against the Outlaws and Elite once again in preparation for our first WS of 2007 in Steamboat Springs, CO.

The brackets are out and the Jammers play the CO Loveland Hitmen on Wed July 18 at 1:45. The journey continues with the CO Diggers and pool ends with the Chino HIlls Storm, a USSSA Major team from So Cal that has beaten some of the best teams in the country.

It should be interesting, and with 44 teams, it could take up to 12 games to win the tourney. Here's hoping we have enough pitching and endurance to get it done. Go Jammers Go!!!

What a year. Let's finish with a bang in our 2 world series!!

Update to current

Well after starting 16-0 the Jammers lost a pair. ... one in pre-season league and our 11U league opener. Here is how it went:

Jammers v Outlaws. Well, the Outlaws were no-hit and D struck out 10. When you fail to execute on the bases and the error bug bites a couple of times.......Jammers lose 4-3.

Jammers v Tri_city Cardinals. Another 10 K performance by D, but again an E cost us 3 runs. Jammers lose 3-2.

We were just a little off in these two games. It will be better on the weekend. Playing 11's so bring your A game!!
